Dang Ngoc Thanh, who is one of the students in Xuan Dinh ward, can't go back to her hometown because Hanoi has implemented social distancing to ensure epidemic prevention. She said that there are many students renting accommodation like me who cannot return to their hometown and also do not know what to do to overcome the difficulties in the city during the quarantine days without the help of the community.

These gifts are small to us, but they mean a lot when students like us are stuck in Hanoi during the recent quarantine period."


Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen (31 years old, living in Dan Phuong) working as a garbage collector could not hold back her emotions when she received the gift because she had lost her job for more than 20 days, had no income, no relatives around, Life is very difficult and chaotic in the countryside. She shared with emotion:  “The ward has also supported us with 1 oats of rice, but our life is very difficult right now. Like this, for many days to come, we won't have to worry about essential food, the difficulties will be eased and it will be very heartwarming for temporary residents in the area like us."

In addition, there are many, many other touching stories about humanity in difficult times, about the difficult circumstances of poor workers outside the province, university students stuck in the area. . Small gifts do not carry much material value, but to them there is a deep humanity in them, especially in the context of complicated epidemics everywhere.
